What is a PDO Thread lift and how does it work?
The PDO threading procedure involves inserting PDO dissolving threads deeply beneath the skin’s surface using acupuncture needles of varying lengths. These wires are strategically placed within the dermis, where they serve as a framework for lifting and tightening sagging skin. Polydioxanone, the material from which these threads are made, is a safe substance that keeps the skin in its newly tightened state for 4-6 months and stimulates the production of new collagen. The lasting result will provide the skin with a refreshed, well-rested, and firmer appearance while promoting the formation of new collagen for long-lasting effects.
