PDO Threading Procedures

Polydioxanone (PDO) is a synthetic absorbable surgical suture that has been used safely in cardiothoracic and general surgery for decades. In aesthetics, PDO threads are placed under the skin to lift sagging tissue, smooth lines, and stimulate new collagen as the threads dissolve over the following 6 to 12 months. We use two main thread categories.
